Why we source from Nepal
In short
Rudraam sources rudraksh in Nepal because the mid-Himalayan foothills — especially the Gandaki basin — produce well-formed beads with a long wear tradition in India.
Why we source from Nepal
Rudraam sources rudraksh in Nepal because the mid-Himalayan foothills — especially regions around the Gandaki basin — produce well-formed beads tied to a long wear tradition in India. Altitude, soil, and slow tree growth matter more than a generic country label.
Hand selection, not bulk mixing
Rudraam selects beads one at a time instead of buying anonymous mixed batches. Each seed is checked for natural surface, honest weight, and a clean drill path when strung. Coated or artificially filled seeds are rejected.
Direct import
Rudraam imports directly from Nepal with fewer middlemen, so we can stand behind origin and you know where your bracelet or mala began. That traceability is the point — not marketing copy about Himalayan mystique.
Built for India
Rudraam is built for Indian wearers first: sensible sizing, clear grading, and plain language — whether you wear rudraksh for japa, as a bracelet, or as a gift for someone who already understands what it means.
